The Tewksbury Job Seekers Network has been meeting for nearly 8 years each week at the Tewksbury Public Library. With social distancing now in effect, the group is currently meeting via Zoom every Monday at 2pm.
Meetings are free and open to all who are unemployed, underemployed or seeking a change career. Non-Tewksbury residents are welcome.

Monday, April 13, 2pm: Tips For Successful Video Interviews
During the COVID-19 pandemic, a record number of companies are conducting job interviews through online video conferencing platforms like Zoom or Skype. For many candidates, video interviews can feel more challenging than in-person ones. With some preparation and awareness of the differences between interacting by video and other interview methods, candidates can be successful and land a job. Monday, April 20, 2pm: How To Cope With Job Loss & Stress
Learn how to handle sudden change and stress in your life. Stress can bring on depression and create fear and anger. Retirement planning can’t stop, sadly, once you’re laid off. Learn the considerations you need to know as it relates to Social Society and 401Ks, as well as retirement strategies during difficult times. Monday, May 18, 2pm: How To Power Network
Learn all the tools necessary to develop extensive networks that access the hidden job market and that will pay continuing dividends throughout one’s career. Attendees will learn a comprehensive step-by-step process that starts with people they already know and generates a continuing source of new and valued professional contacts. Through networking, many of these contacts become “helpers” in the job search and often become life-long professional or personal friends. Networking in a job search is truly relationship marketing of oneself in his/her target market. The presentation will give attendees a thorough overview of the total person-to-person networking process. Led by Eric Ross, who is often acknowledged as New England’s master networker. Ross landed his most recent position, Chief Operating Officer of New England Renewable Energy Systems, through the networking approach and methods explained in his Power Networking presentation.
