Below is a message from We’re One Wilmington President Jomarie O’Mahony that was recently shared with its members:
WILMINGTON, MA — WOW has been reaching out to seniors to see if they need help with errands or just a phone buddy. We have a request for a few phone buddies if anyone is willing to commit to making phones calls every few days to make sure your buddy is doing ok.
We are going to work on care packages for seniors and would love to include masks if any crafty members are willing to make some. Email me directly (jomarie0525@yahoo.com) and I can pick them up.
We would also like to include notes of encouragement and anything else that you can think of — please let me know if you have any ideas or interest in coordinating notes.
