POLICE LOG for April 8: Vehicle Strikes & Injures Bicyclist; Trash Truck Leaking Fluid; Group Of Kids At Skate Park

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Wednesday, April 8, 2020:
  • Police noted a storm drain on Burlington Avenue is backed up causing water to remain in street. Police notified DPW. (2:53am)
  • A caller reported a trash truck appeared to be leaking onto roadway at Adams Street and Chandler Street. Police notified DPW to clean up fluid. Company will check other trash & recycling trucks. (11:58am)
  • A vehicle struck a bicyclist near CVS on Main Street. Bicyclist had an ankle injury and was transported to Lahey. (12:42pm)
  • A caller reported she left her power washer on the side of the road for a family member to pick up. When family member arrived a few minutes later, power washer was missing. (3:46pm)
  • Police dispersed a group of youths from the Skate Park. (4:48pm)
