WILMINGTON, MA — John R. Ricci, Sr., age 88, a long-time resident of Wilmington, passed away on April 5, 2020.
John was a U.S. Air Force Veteran who proudly served during Korea. He was also the owner and operator of Lakeside Exxon in Wakefield for more than 30 years.
John is the beloved husband of the late Lillian “Evelyn” (DeLoreto) Ricci, devoted father of Lisa Strainge & her husband Scott of Tewksbury and John R. Ricci, Jr. of Gardner, loving “Papa” of Stephanie Strainge, Lauren Strainge, Benjamin Strainge, Matthew Ricci, the late John R. Ricci, III and the late William Ricci, cherished son of the late Patrick and Agnes (Robinson) Ricci, dear brother of the late Kenneth Ricci.
At the family’s request, Funeral Services for John are private.
Memorial donations in John’s name may be made to the Bedford Veterans Hospital Memory Diagnostic Clinic, 200 Springs Road, GRECC (182B), Bedford, MA 01730.
