POLICE LOG for March 27: Driver Issued Summons After Crashing Into Rock Wall; Road Rage Incident

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Friday, March 27, 2020:
  • Church Street resident heard an explosion and their power went out. Police noted a transformer on a pole had a fuse hanging out. RMLD notified. (6:51am)
  • Fire Department responded to a mulch fire at Lucci’s Supermarket Plaza. (12:50pm)
  • A caller reported that a male party driving a gray Mustang was driving slowly so they beeped at him. The Mustang then followed the caller to their home and then yellow obscenities at them before driving away. Police were unable to locate. (3:06pm)
  • An Edwards Road party reported receiving a letter stating that an unknown credit card has been open in his name. (3:40pm)
  • A vehicle struck and knocked down the stop sign at Church Street and Adams Street. (6:07pm)
  • Michael F. Lyons, Jr. (20, Reading) was issued a summons for Operating A Motor Vehicle With A Suspended License; Marked Lanes Violation; and Speeding. Lyons was involved in a one-vehicle crash on Boutwell Street. Rock wall damaged. Road closed. Vehicle towed. (10:33pm)
