POLICE LOG for March 26: Driver Smoking Marijuana?; Trash Barrel Stolen; People Moved Along From Yentile

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Thursday, March 26, 2020:
  • Police notified State Highway of a collapsing catch basin on Main Street. (7:53am)
  • Police assisted State Police in looking for a vehicle that failed to stop on the highway. Police checked Route 129 and could not locate. (10:03am)
  • A caller reported a gray dump truck was speeding in the Clark Street area. Police advised driver of the complaint, but not witness any infractions. (10:34am)
  • Police received report of an occupant of a parked vehicle smoking marijuana in the Target parking lot. Police responded and found nothing — no odor or paraphernalia observed. (1:47pm)
  • Credit card fraud was reported at Cumberland Farm. (4:12pm)
  • A black pick-up truck stole a trash barrel from Douglas Avenue. Resident called back to report the barrel was returned. (4:16pm)
  • A caller concerned about people playing at Yentile Farm Recreational Facility. Police responded, spoke to parties, and moved them along. (4:27pm)
