POLICE LOG for March 22: Wilmington Man Arrested For OUI After Crash In Simards Drive-Thru

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Sunday, March 22, 2020:
  • Michael R. Carroccino (22, Wilmington) was arrested for OUI Liquor. Police responded after an employee at Simards reported a motor vehicle crash occurred in their drive-thru and the parties are arguing. (1:44am)
  • A truck dumped brush and debris in the road on Lowell Street. Debris was moved to the side. Party will return later to clean up. (1:11pm)
  • A blue SUV struck a tree and then a stop sign at Woburn Street at Park Street. Witness said this may be a domestic situation, with two parties arguing in the vehicle while driving a high rate of speed. Police were unable to locate, but witness gave police the license plate. (3:17pm)
  • Police assisted the Fire Department with a shed fire on Towpath Drive. (3:26pm)
  • During a property check of Town Hall, police noted it appeared people were drinking and smoking cigarettes near the Snack Shack. (6:38pm)
