POLICE LOG for March 20: Teen Missing From Group Home; Truck Fire; 2-Vehicle Crash Damages Landscaping & Pole

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Friday, March 20, 2020:
  • Police and Fire responded to a tractor trailer fire at Frito Lay on Ballardvale Street. Fire was extinguished by driver prior to arrival. (5:22am)
  • A 2-vehicle crash occurred at Mass Avenue and River Street. Airbag deployment. No injuries noted. One vehicle towed. Mulch bed and shrubs damaged. Pole struck. Verizon notified. (12:38pm)
  • Police responded to a juvenile running away from the Milestone Group Home on High Street. Last seen on Woburn Street. Police eventually located teen and brought them back to the program. (4:14pm)
  • A juvenile was later reported missing from Milestone Group Home. (11:34pm)
  • Police responded to a false alarm at the West Intermediate School. (11:21pm)
