Below is a recent announcement from Wilmington Youth Soccer:
WYSA Members,
We have received the following notification from Massachusetts Youth Soccer: “Effective Friday, March 13, 2020, Massachusetts Youth Soccer Association is suspending all affiliated and sanctioned soccer activities statewide through April 15th due to the evolving COVID-19 situation…This includes, but is not limited to: all games, practices, clinics, training, tournaments, in-person meetings, and Coaching Education Courses.”
Based on this information, we are suspending all WYSA activities, which includes any affiliated and sanctioned activities of Mass Youth Soccer, until further notice.
In addition to the cancellations in our previous announcement, this includes:
- Winter Futsal at Billerica Boys & Girls Club – March 15th and 22nd – CANCELLED
- Girls Night Out – March 22nd – CANCELLED
- Genesis Referee Training – March 29th – CANCELLED
- Intown & Travel Coaches Training at Billerica Boys & Girls Club March 29th – CANCELLED
- Wildcats FC Program – practices canceled until further notice
As a further reminder, all outdoor fields are closed so please remain off the fields until notified by the board.
We appreciate your patience during this difficult time and will provide additional information as we receive it.
