WILMINGTON, MA — In the latest episode of WCTV’s “Where’s Wilmington?,” host Lisa Kapala interviews Wilmington’s Brad Jackson, who serves as Holliston’s Superintendent of Schools. Jackson was recently named the Massachusetts Superintendent of the Year from the American Association of School Administrators.
Jackson discusses how long he has lived in town, how he became interested in education leadership, his time as a School Committee member and Business Administrator for Wilmington Public Schools, what his day-to-day life is like as a Superintendent (“mostly boring with moments of terror”), what goes into calling school off due to snow, how he reacted to winning his recent award, some hot button issues in today’s education world and his thoughts on Wilmington Public Schools.
