POLICE LOG for March 1: Reports Of Gun Shots; Highway Rollover; Road Rage Incident

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Sunday, March 1, 2020:
  • A caller reported a vehicle parked in the area since 9am. Black female sitting in vehicle. When approached, party said she was all set. Police responded. Party was a home health aide. (1:58pm)
  • Police and Fire responded to a jeep rollover at 93 South Exit 38. Ramp shut down. State Police handled scene. (3:21pm)
  • Police notified RMLD of balloons caught on power wires near the Shell Gas Station on Main Street. (4:14pm)
  • Police and Fire responded to a brush fire behind Town Hall. (4:29pm)
  • A male party reported he was struck as a result of a road rage incident at CVS. Police responded and restored the peace. Police stood by while parties finished their transactions. (4:52pm)
  • A caller reported hearing gun shots on Butters Row. Police responded. A group of juveniles nearby were doing some experiments with dry ice left over from a birthday party. Group agreed to refrain from so in the future. (6:41pm)
  • Police gave driver a verbal warning for a fire lane violation. (7:02pm)
