POLICE LOG for February 29: 2 Tewksbury Residents Arrested For OUIs; Pedestrian Struck; Brush Fires

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Saturday, February 29, 2020:
  • Police notified Mass Highway of a pothole forming on Main Street. (7:08am)
  • Marissa Paige Dicocco (21, Tewksbury) was arrested for OUI Drugs, Open Container Of Marijuana In Vehicle, and Negligent Operation Of A Motor Vehicle. Dicocco was involved in a one-vehicle crash on Richmond Street. (8:57am)
  • State Police and Fire Department responded to a brush fire in the median on 93 South, between exits 39 and 40. (10:32am)
  • Police spoke with a driver who stated he struck a female pedestrian on Aldrich Road/Forest Street. Pedestrian took his plate information and limped away. Police were unable to locate pedestrian. (1:19pm)
  • Police observed 2 parties walking on the tracks on Richmond Street. Keolis was notified. Police advised parties not to walk on tracks. (2:46pm)
  • A hit and run accident was reported in the Market Basket parking lot. One vehicle towed. (2:20pm)
  • Fire Department responded to report of a brush fire in fields behind Town Hall. (3:52pm)
  • A caller reported that someone is in the house and that his parents just left to go to dinner. Police responded. Brother was in the house and caller was unaware. (6:15pm)
  • 3-vehicle crash occurred on Main Street and Mass Avenue. No injuries. 2 vehicles towed. (6:53pm)
  • Jeremy D. Hansford (42, Tekwsbury) was arrested for OUI Liquor (2nd Offense) & Negligent Operation Of Motor Vehicle. Police came across Hansford passed out behind the wheel at a Main Street intersection. His truck struck a cruiser. (8:16pm)
  • A caller reported a sedan keeps driving through the Bridge Lane neighborhood and pulling into Kingdom Hall’s lot. Police responded. Driver was teaching daughter how to drive. (10:22pm)
