POLICE LOG for February 21: Parking Complaints At RMV; Catalytic Convertor Stolen From Truck

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Friday, February 21, 2020:
  • A Williams Avenue caller reported hearing some type of alarm for the past half hour. Police responded and found a smoke detector beeping in a trash barrel. Battery was removed. (1:04am)
  • Fire Department responded to smoldering mulch on Horseshoe Lane. (7:22am)
  • Police assisted with a motor vehicle lockout on Research Drive. (12:22pm)
  • A catalytic convertor was stolen from a truck parked on West Street. (1:53pm)
  • Police responded to parking complaints at RMV on Middlesex Avenue. 2 vehicles were parked on the grass, and other vehicles were blocking the entrance and exit. Police spoke with manager, who made announcements. (3:04pm)
