POLICE LOG for February 18: Protest Against Amazon; Erratic Driver; Loud Teens At Dunks

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Tuesday, February 18, 2020:
  • A Woburn Street caller reported her garage door keeps opening and closing. Police responded and did not observe any suspicious behavior. (1:47am)
  • Police received report of an erratic operator on Ballardvale Street, speeding and crossing the double lines. Police were unable to locate. (8:11am)
  • Police came across a group protesting Amazon on Fordham Road. Police spoke with the protesters from Local 103, who were peaceful, for informational purposes. (9:23am)
  • Fire Deputy Chief Cavanaugh called in regarding a MBTA bus displaying an emergency message to call police. Transit police were contacted and confirmed it was a false alarm. (11:37am)
  • Police spoke to a group of teens inside the Dunkin’ on Main Street for their rambunctious behavior. Police advised staff to call if behavior continues. (5:29pm)
  • Police came across a vehicle in the Town Beach parking lot. Two teens were watching a movie. Checked OK and sent on their way. (9:43pm)
