POLICE LOG for February 11: Gas Pump Mishap; Late Night Walk In Bathrobe Draws Concern

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Tuesday, February 11, 2020:
  • Police were flagged down regarding a female walking around in a bathrobe on Main Street. Police spoke with the female, who checked OK and was walking to CVS. (2:21am)
  • An erratic operator was reported heading north on Main Street. Police pulled over vehicle and issued a written warning for texting. (9:11am)
  • A caller stated she drove off with the gas pump still attached to her vehicle at the Shell Gas Station on Main Street. She did not provide the clerk with her vehicle information as she was late to pick up her daughter. She provided dispatch with her name, license plate, and phone number. Dispatch contacted Shell Gas Station, which was satisfied and will await the driver’s return to exchange information. (7:04pm)
  • Police received report of a male party going up to female patrons inside TJ Maxx and making them feel uncomfortable. By the time police responded, party had left the store. (8:26pm)
  • 2-vehicle crash occurred on 93 North near Exit 39. No injuries noted. State Police and Fire Department also responded. (10:30pm)
