POLICE LOG for January 28: Disoriented Driver?; Concerned Husband Can’t Locate Wife

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Tuesday, January 28, 2020:
  • At the request of an employee, police moved along a group of teens from a Middlesex Avenue business. (3:16pm)
  • A Westdale Avenue requested a check of the neighborhood. He stated 5 minutes ago, there was a black Honda sedan parked on the street. He asked the operator if he was lost and believes the operator may have been disoriented. Operator was gone by the time police arrived. (5:40pm)
  • Police notified DPW that the Winston Avenue street sign appears to have been struck by a motor vehicle. (6:54pm)
  • A caller reported he could not locate his wife. Caller stated wife may be at a house in Wilmington she’s readying to put on the market. Police checked address and was unable to locate the woman. Dispatch spoke with caller again who eventually made contact with his wife. (10:38pm)
