POLICE LOG for January 27: Hit & Run At TJ Maxx; Power Outage; Dog Poop Problem

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Monday, January 27, 2020:
  • Animal Control Officer had conversation with a party about not picking up dog waste. Party said it will no longer be an issue. (9:35am)
  • A caller reported tree on wires on Brand Avenue. A tree service working in the area dropped a branch on a pole. Power out. Fire Department and RMLD responded. (2:35pm)
  • A hit and run between two vehicles occurred in the TJ Maxx parking lot. Police unable to locate second vehicle, described as a maroon sedan driven by a thin white male with glasses. (3:49pm)
  • An employee found a debit card in the Town Hall parking lot. Police retrieved it. (5:51pm)
  • Police gave a woman, who was lost and looking for directions, a ride to the train station. (8:20pm)
