SELECTMEN NEWS: Town Manager To Unveil Town’s FY21 Budget; Board To Discuss Town Meeting Changes On Jan. 27

WILMINGTON, MA — The Wilmington Board of Selectmen meets this Monday, January 27, 2020 at 7pm in Room 9 of Town Hall.

There are some noteworthy items on the agenda, including:

  • Town Manager Jeff Hull will present his proposed FY21 budget.
  • Selectmen will consider the requests of Casa Blanca Restaurant owner Jorge Vargas to obtain a common victualer license and entertainment license.
  • Selectmen will consider the recommendations of the town’s Inhabitant Bylaw Committee.
  • Selectmen will ratify the appointment of Paul Chalifour as a member of the Wilmington Historical Commission.
  • Selectmen will consider the request of WHS Football to hold a Car Wash Fundraiser at the Town Common Parking Lot on Sunday, September 13, 2020, from 9am to noon.
  • Selectmen will consider the request of Library Director Tina Stewart to use the Swain Green on Thursday, August 13, 2020, from 4pm to 11pm, for a performance of “Much Ado About Nothing” and on Friday, August 14, 2020, from 5:30pm to 7pm, for the Annual Summer Bash.

The meeting will be telecast live by Wilmington Community Television on WCTV — Channel 9 on Comcast and Channel 37 on Verizon.  The meeting will also be streamed on WCTV’s website HERE.
