POLICE LOG for January 18: Wilmington Driver Issued Summons; Hypodermic Needle Located

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Saturday, January 18, 2020:
  • Police assisted with a motor vehicle lockout on Pine Avenue. (7:04am)
  • A hypodermic needle was found on ground next to speed limit sign on Forest Street. Police retrieved for proper disposal. (8:51am)
  • Melanie Jean Fraser (20, Wilmington) was issued a summons for Operating A Motor Vehicle With Suspended Or Revoked Registration and Uninsured Motor Vehicle. Fraser was pulled over on Shawsheen Avenue. (10:33am)
  • A caller reported her bag was stolen at North Station yesterday, and now her iPad is pinging at a location on Ballardvale Street. Police notified Transit Police. (11:18am)
  • A caller reporting someone has been placing cones in front of her mailbox on Chestnut Street for past several days. There were no markings on the cone to identify who they belong to. No other cones were in front of any other houses on the street. (6:44pm)
