POLICE LOG for January 13: Home Broke Into On Aldrich Road; Packages Stolen From Porch; Highway Crashes

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Monday, January 13, 2020:
  • A 3-vehicle crash occurred in the fast lane of 93 South, near Exit 39. No injuries reported. (6:41am)
  • Police issued a citation to a driver on Lowell Street for failure to yield and seatbelt violation. Driver was enroute to Woburn District Court to rectify a warrant issue (failure to appear for jury duty). (9:27am)
  • Fire Department responded to a small brush fire on Salem Street. (12:10pm)
  • A Clark Street resident reported a delivered package was taken off of their front steps. (2:01pm)
  • A vehicle crashed into a bush near the 93 South Exit 40 ramp. No injuries reported. State Police handled the scene. (3:57pm)
  • An Ashwood Avenue caller reported a suspicious vehicle in the area. Caller believed  they may be taking packages from people’s residences. Police was unable to locate vehicle. (4:01pm)
  • An Aldrich Road caller reported a break-in at her home. (7:43pm)
  • A Cleveland Avenue caller reported around 7pm a man was observed on her security cameras looking into her windows and garage. (8:53pm)
