UPDATE: Wilmington Substance Abuse Coalition Invites Public To Discussion On Marijuana & Vaping On Jan. 23

WILMINGTON, MA — The Wilmington Substance Abuse Coalition has organized a night of learning and dialogue on marijuana, vaping and how they overlap on Thursday, January 23, 2020, from 7pm to 9pm, at St. Thomas Church (126 Middlesex Avenue).

The public (ages 12 and older) are encouraged to attend to learn about the status of marijuana in Massachusetts, what vaping is, how substances affect the brain, and more.

The evening’s keynote speaker is Rick Cresta, LICSW. Panelists will include Cannabis Control Commission Chairman Steven Hoffman; Tracey Rose-Tynes, MS, BSN, RN; Wilmington Police Deputy Chief Brian Pupa; and Josh Tobin, LICSW, ARMS Program.

Audience will have the opportunity to ask questions of the key note speaker and panelists.
