POLICE LOG for January 5: Report Of Erratic Operator; Overnight Hit & Run

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Sunday, January 5, 2020:
  • A caller reported her vehicle was struck while parked on Pleasant Road overnight. (9:52am)
  • A caller reported his wife is intoxicated and wants to drive. Police then spoke with wife, who said she’s feeling sad and doesn’t want to stay in the home anymore. Police responded and restored the peace. Wife decided to go to bed. (9:54pm)
  • A caller requested a check of the Shell Gas Station on Main Street. Caller said business appears open, but no one is inside. Police responded. Employee was in back doing stock work. (10:31pm)
  • A caller reported an erratic operator almost hit her head on at Main Street and Church Street. Vehicle was described as a gray pick-up truck. Police were unable to locate. (11:03pm)
