POLICE LOG for December 27: Turkey Seen With Arrow In Leg; Child Gets Finger Caught In Elevator; Police Issued Warnings

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Friday, December 27, 2019:
  • Police issued a written warning to a driver on 93 North near Exit 40 for a move over law violation. (5:17am)
  • Animal Control Office responded to report of a turkey with an arrow through its leg on Ox Bow Drive. Caller saw turkey in a tree. (10:03am)
  • Police received a 911 call from a library employee. A child got his finger stuck in the elevator, but was able to get it free. Fire Department responded. (10:41am)
  • A caller reported an individual was walking down Cunningham Street and videotaping the neighborhood with his phone. Caller was advised that is not a crime. (12:27pm)
  • Police issued a verbal warning to a driver parked in the fire lane in front of Market Basket. (2:56pm)
  • Police came across 9 vehicles of young adults in the old Rite Aid parking lot. Police instructed them to pick up their trash and disperse. (10:12pm)
