WILMINGTON, MA — Below are 3 things to know in Wilmington on Tuesday, December 31, 2019:
#1) Noon Year’s Eve Party At Wilmington Library
The Wilmington Memorial Library is holding its annual Noon Year’s Eve Party beginning at 11am! Ring in the New Year a little early! We’ll make party hats, and noise makers, have some fun snacks and make some noise as we watch the ball drop and count down until noon. Grades Kindergarten-5. Register HERE.
ALSO: The Wilmington Memorial Library is closing EARLY at 5pm. Town Offices are open normal hours.
#2) Trash & Recycling Delayed One Day Starting Tomorrow
Trash and recycling collection on Tuesday, December 24, 2019 will be picked up as regularly scheduled. Wednesday through Friday pickup will be delayed one day due to the Christmas Holiday.
#3) Grocery Store Hours
- Market Basket is open from 7am to 6pm on New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day.
- Lucci’s Supermarket is open from 7am to 6pm on New Year’s Eve and 8am to 6pm on New Year’s Day.
- Elia’s Country Store is open 8am to 9pm on New Year’s Even and 8am to 8pm on New Year’s Day. Liquor sales both days.
