POLICE LOG for December 25: Police Respond To Lots Of False Alarms On Christmas

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Wednesday, December 25, 2019:
  • Police responded to ATM machine alarm at Lowell Five Bank on Main Street. ATM was secure with no one around. (7:22am)
  • Police and Fire Department responded to fire alarm at NuPath Group Home on Woburn Street. Burgers cooking in oven caused smoky conditions. (12:22pm)
  • A caller reported a manhole cover was missing at Freeport Drive and Lucaya Circle. Police notified DPW. (3:27pm)
  • Police received a 911 call from CareOne at Wilmington. 911 call consisted of hold music. On call back, employee confirmed there was no emergency. (5:37pm)
  • A caller reported a blue Toyota on Hopkins Street, heading towards the Shawsheen Elementary School, operating slowly and swerving. Police were unable to locate the vehicle. (9:05pm)
