#1) Boston Children’s Hospital Blood Drive At Fourth Of July Building

The Wilmington Sons of Italy has organized a Blood Drive on Saturday, December 28, 2019, from 9am to 3pm, at the Wilmington Fourth of July Building (142 Middlesex Avenue).

The blood drive is dedicated to Julian Sbraccia.

#2) Wilmington Sons Of Italy To Hold Christmas Dinner With “Street Magic Acappella”

The Wilmington Sons of Italy is holding its Annual Christmas Dinner Dance on Saturday, December 28, 2019 at the Tewksbury-Wilmington Elks (777 South Street, Tewksbury). The evening will feature entertainment from Street Magic Acappella.

Cocktails will be served at 6pm, followed by a catered surf and turf dinner from Mr. Jacks. Street Magic Acappella will then perform.

#3) Wilmington Youth Center Open

The Wilmington Youth Center, located inside Villanova Hall (126 Middlesex Avenue), is open every Saturday night, from 7pm to 9:30pm, from November 23, 2019 to March 28, 2020.

The Wilmington Youth Center offers a variety of activities, including:

  • Board Games
  • Jukebox
  • Foosball
  • Ping Pong
  • Billiards
  • Video Arcade Room
  • Video Games (Game Cube, Playstation II, Wii, X-Box Kinect)

During the season, the Center sponsors several activities, including:

  • Dances with DJs
  • Craft Nights
  • Whiffle Ball Games

Snack items, including pizza, candy and beverages, are available for purchase each week.

A member’s parent is required to chaperon for a minimum of two Saturday nights.

Registrations will be accepted on Saturday nights during the season. Registration costs $40 per child or $80 per family. The registration form can be found HERE.

#4) Human Battleship At Wilmington Library

The Wilmington Memorial Library (175 Middlesex Avenue) is holding Human Battleship at 11am. This adored board game comes to life at the library! Sign up for a 15-minute session, playing against your family, friends, and neighbors. The first team to have all of their members hit is sunk! All ages. Register HERE.

#5) Board Game Tournament At Wilmington Library

The Wilmington Memorial Library (175 Middlesex Avenue) is hosting a Board Game Tournament from 1:30pm to 4:30pm. The WML’s own Board Game Club will host their first-ever mixed game tournament at the library! Play games from home or use ours for a chance to win prizes and get your team on the leaderboard.
