“I wish I could express fully how much of an impact Stephanie has made on so many children at only 27,” said her nominator, Julia Toomey, late saying “Stephanie has already made a name for herself as a performing arts educator with excellence.”

Toomey describes Morey-Barry as a teacher who not only offers knowledge on signing and performance, but also takes a personal interest in each and every one of her students.

“She cares about their feelings and loves them for who they are. So many students leave her voice lessons feeling like stronger and more confident individuals,” said Toomey.

Through a method of helping students grow while learning, Morey-Barry ensures that each student will be the best that they can be. This year, one of her students made it into the All-State Chorus.
