Road Scholar Travel *RR

Road Scholar is America’s first and the world’s largest educational travel organization for adults. It offers more than 5,500 programs in all 50 states and 150 countries worldwide. Speaker Donna Brock is a seasoned Road Scholar participant and Road Scholar Ambassador. Find out how you can begin traveling and learning with this wonderful organization.
Pints + Pages Book Group*RR

Featured Book: Reader’s Choice
Location: Rocco’s Restaurant in Wilmington
Social book group geared towards readers in their 20’s and 30’s. Instead of discussing a particular book this month, share your latest favorite reads, watches & listens, plus get great recommendations from others. Bring along at least two (books, movies, series, podcasts, etc.) to share! If you do not have it in hand, that’s okay! Just remember the title.
Fiction Critique Group*RR

Love writing fiction? Whether you are drafting a short story or a novel, joining our Critique Group is a great opportunity to meet other writers and get constructive feedback in a supportive environment. When registering, please provide your email address so you can receive an agenda and any prep materials before the meeting. Open to all experience levels writing in all genres. Led by local writing enthusiast, Barbara Alevras.
Lessons from the Blue Zones *RR

This program presents the latest research on the physiology of aging and longevity enhancement by exploring four areas of the world where people live the longest (Blue Zones). Explore the role of genetics in aging and how lifestyle choices affect the expression of our genes. Discover how to create a plan or “roadmap” that will incorporate this important research and protect your most important asset: your health and vitality. This program benefits all ages but is particularly important for folks at mid-life (age 50-75). Presented by Paula Koppel, a registered nurse, geriatric nurse practitioner, and founder of Age Well Be Well. This program is brought to you with federal funds provided by the Institute of Museum and Library Services and administered by the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners.
