WILMINGTON, MA — In the latest episode of WCTV’s “Where’s Wilmington,” host Lisa Kapala interviews three members of the Wilmington Pop Warner D Cheerleading Team, which recently won the 2019 Pop Warner Nationals at Disney World.
Cheerleaders Isabella Cooper, Lilly King, and Maya Lanzi discussed their victory, their trip to Disney, their training, and their love of the sport. The girls thanked coaches Deb Smith, Christina Zuccaro, Nicole Minghella French, and Mikayla Russell, along with Pop Warner President Joe McCauley and Team Mom Katie Lanzi. The girls also acknowledged the residents for supporting their fundraising efforts.
