POLICE LOG for December 12: Kid Climbing Highway Overpass?; Car Fire; Winter Parking Ban Reminders

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Thursday, December 12, 2019:
  • Police placed winter parking ban notifications on 9 vehicles on Pouliot Place. (1:04am)
  • A 2-vehicle crash resulted in a car fire on the 93 South Exit 38 ramp. State Police and Fire Department handled scene. (8:50am)
  • A caller reported a red Prius operating at a low rate of speed in the Wildwood Street are with 2 people inside possibly wearing ski masks. Suspicious activity was called in by a third party who did not witness the vehicle. Police were unable to locate. (11:01am)
  • A caller stated a lock was broken off a company’s dumpster and filled by someone else. Caller stated there was information in the trash with names on theme. Police responded. Situation resulted from a misunderstanding. (12:21pm)
  • State Police reported a motorist on 93 South near Exit 38 reported a young kid was climbing the fence on the overpass. Police were unable to locate any child. (9:23pm)
