WILMINGTON, MA — Wilmington’s Annual Santa Parade took place on Sunday, December 8, 2019.
Santa, traveling with a small parade of public safety vehicles, stopped at five locations — the Public Safety Building, the Shawsheen Elementary School, the Woburn Street Elementary School, the North Intermediate School, and Town Hall.
Each stop featured various Christmas activities, including a meet & greet with Santa and Mrs. Claus; taking pictures with Santa and of the emergency vehicles & tow trucks; and writing Christmas letters to troops and veterans. Santa’s Helpers also collected nonperishable food items for the Wilmington Food Pantry and new toys for the Wilmington Firefighters’ Toy Drive.
In between stops, Santa and company traveled around town, through as many neighborhoods as time permitted.
