POLICE LOG for December 10: Woman Issued Summons After Failing To Stop For Funeral Procession; Resident Finds Homeless Man On Porch

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Tuesday, December 10, 2019:
  • Police came across two vehicles with blown tires in the Winchester Family Medical Center’s parking lot on Salem Street. Vehicles were victim of the large pot hole over the North Reading Line. AAA on scene. (1:02am)
  • Richdale management reported RMV patrons were parking in the spots posted for his store. Police advised manager the lot was private property and would need to be enforced by private tow. (10:31am)
  • Emily Sherburne (24, Billerica) was issued a summons for Operating A Motor Vehicle with a Suspended License and Marked Lanes Violation. Sherburne was puled over at Middlesex Avenue and Adams Street after failing to stop for a funeral possession. (11:19am)
  • A 2-vehcile crash occurred on Lowell Street with airbag deployment. Occupants refused medical attention from Fire Department. One vehicle towed. (11:36am)
  • A paving crew was blocking the road at Main Street and Middlesex Avenue. The company did not hire a detail, so job was shut down and rescheduled. (11:54am)
  • Adam Dupuis (26, Homeless) was arrested on 2 warrants. A Glen Road resident came home to Dupuis, whom they did not know, sitting on their front porch. (12:38pm)
  • Police restored peace between two individuals arguing in the Market Basket parking lot over damage done to a vehicle from a shopping cart. (1:17pm)
  • James Russell Cummings (29, Wilmington) was issued a summons for Operating A Motor Vehicle With A Suspended License. (5:27pm)
