Cookin’ the Books*RR
Monday, December 16, 12 pm
Featured book:
The Perfect Cookie by the editors at America’s Test Kitchen.
In this special meeting of Cookin’ the Books, attendees will select a recipe and make four dozen cookies to swap (please register recipe choice via the library Events page). Everyone will take home a sampling of all the cookies plus get to taste some at the meeting. Lunch provided – no need to cook!  

Current Affairs Discussion Group *RR
Wednesday, December 18, 7pm
This group is for all who would like to broaden their knowledge of current national and international affairs. You will have the opportunity to discuss topical events and learn from others. Led by facilitator Dan Hall.

Poetry Circle

Love poetry? The poetry circle is a great opportunity to meet other poets and get constructive feedback in a supportive environment. When registering, please provide your email address so you can receive an agenda and any prep materials in advance. Led by local writing enthusiast, Barbara Alevras.

Stories and Sweets
Saturday, December 14, 10:30 am
Start your Saturday morning with great stories (and songs and rhymes) and a few sweet treats at this special family storytime. Ages 2-5 and one or more adults.

Gingerbread Houses *RR
Monday, December 16, 3:45 or 6:30 pm
It’s a tradition here to ring in the holidays by making an edible winter cottage.  Construct a gingerbread house out of graham crackers. Then decorate it with gumdrops, candy, chocolate and more!  Please bring two empty, clean school milk cartons. All ages

Special Holiday Storytime *RR
Tuesday, December 17, 10 am
Enjoy a special holiday themed storytime. We will read stories, sing holiday songs, and make a fun craft! Ages 3-5

Steve Blunt Holiday Singalong *RR
Wednesday, December 18, 6:30 pm
Singalong to favorite holiday songs with Steve Blunt! All ages

Library Hours Friday December 13
The library will be closed on Friday December 13 from 9 am to 2 pm for staff training. The library will be open 2pm to 5 pm that day.
