PHOTO: Wilmington Police’s Pink Patches Raise $1,430 For Local Breast Cancer Foundation

Below is an announcement from the Wilmington Police Department shared on its social media accounts:

WILMINGTON, MA — During the month of October, the Wilmington Police Department promoted breast cancer awareness by selling specially designed WPD pink patches. The proceeds of those patches were donated to the Hope & Friendship Metastatic Breast Cancer Foundation.  We recently sent this Wilmington-based organization a check for $1430! A special thank you to Officer Emily Stebbins for organizing our patch program and to all who donated to this worthwhile cause!
