WILMINGTON, MA — The Wilmington Health Department closed down Greg’s Pizza Route 38 on Monday, November 25, 2019 due to unsanitary conditions.
During a regular routine inspection of the Main Street restaurant, Health Department officials identified 12 food code violations, including:
- No one on staff who was knowledgeable in safe food management
- Improper holding temperatures of roast beef
- Dirty equipment
- Extension cords running to kitchen equipment, causing electrical hazards
- Leaky plumbing fixtures
The restaurant will be allowed to reopen once it is found to be in compliance with the town’s health code of regulations.
The Wilmington Board of Health will discuss the matter in detail at its next scheduled public meeting on Tuesday, December 3, 2019 at 5:30pm at Town Hall.
