WILMINGTON, MA — The Wilmington High School Marching Band is holding its Annual Thanksgiving Food Drive on Saturday, November 23, 2019, from 9am to 3pm.
Students will be collecting non-perishable food donations from shoppers at Market Basket (260 Main Street) and Lucci’s Supermarket (211 Lowell Street). Look for them outside the stores’ entrances and exits!
All collected food will be donated to the Wilmington Food Pantry. The Pantry will be distributing Thanksgiving baskets to its clients on Monday, November 25, 2019, from 4:30pm to 6:30pm.
Items the pantry is most in need of include:
- Canned protein-rich items like Tuna, Beef Stew, Chili or Sloppy Joes
- Canned Fruit
- Juice Boxes
- Mayo
- Ketchup
- Brownie mix
- Cake mix
- Sugared cereal
- Canned Pasta (Spaghettio’s, Chef Boyardi)
- Coffee
- Ramen
- Oatmeal
