Boston Typewriter Orchestra *RR

This is your chance to come and see and hear typewriters make music! Boston Typewriter Orchestra, or BTO, a Boston-based musical group summons the distinctive chirping noise of old manual typewriters to create catchy rhythms. Don’t miss this unique intergenerational event—appropriate for toddlers on up to the young at heart.

Healthy Aging Ted Talks *RR

Joinwith others to watch and discuss two short TED Talks:  How to Live Passionately No Matter Your Agewith author Isabel Allende and Life’s ThirdAct with Jane Fonda.  Coffee and refreshments served.

The good news is that if diagnosed early, many eye conditions can be effectively treated and can reduce your chances of developing complications and/or vision loss. Join Reena Gupta, M.D. Ophthalmologistfrom the Boston Eye Group in Andover for this informative presentation.  Presented by the Winchester Hospital in partnership with the Buzzell Senior Center and the Wilmington Memorial Library.

Current Affairs Discussion Group *RR

This group is for all who would like to broaden their knowledge of current national and international affairs. You will have the opportunity to discuss topical events and learn from others. Recommended background readings will be provided prior to each meeting. Led by facilitator Dan Hall.

Solo Guitarist Scott Ouellette *RR
Thursday, November 21, 2:30 pm
North Shore classical guitarist Scott Ouellette returns to the Wilmington Memorial Library to share music from the classical, Spanish, and Latin-American guitar repertoire, along with three original works. Scott has been performing professionally in and around the Boston area for the past 30 years.

Art After Dark: DIY Felt Letter Board *RR
Tuesday, November 19, 6:30-8:30 pm
Using felt, corrugated cardboard, and a picture frame, create a custom letter board to display your favorite phrases. Grades 6-12

Crafternoon: Bullet Journals *RR
Wednesday, November 20, 3:45 pm
Set yourself up for success in 2020 with a bullet journal: a creative combination diary, planner, and to-do list tracker. Everyone will go home with a dot journal and new lettering pen.  Grades 4-8

Ed Popielarczyk’s Flea Circus *RR
Wednesday, November 20, 6:30 pm
Join us for an entire big top circus in miniature!! First we have fifi, who performs on the high wire and the trapeze! Then there is Bruno, the world’s strongest flea who turns over a coin in a child’s hand! Last but not least is Fernando who does the high dive into a pool of water and gets shot out of a cannon and into a volunteer’s hands!! The audience will be thrilled and amazed at these and other incredible demonstrations starring Ed’s trained fleas. Ages 3+
