POLICE LOG for November 5: Unusual Bike Riding Lesson; Missing Medication; Tractor Trailer Crash

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Tuesday, November 5, 2019:
  • During a check of Town Hall, police came across two individuals that appeared intoxicated. One was teaching the other how to ride a bike. Parties left the area on foot. (1:27am)
  • Police pulled over a vehicle for suspicious activity near Speedway on Main Street. Elderly male operator appeared confused. Fire Department transported to Winchester Hospital. Police notified man’s family. (1:57am)
  • A Pershing Street caller reported missing medication. (11:33am)
  • An employee at Lynch Materials on Salem Street reported a tractor trailer unit drove through a fence, post and gate. Police responded. Companies worked out a restitution. (2:28pm)
  • A disabled train caused gridlock traffic on Route 62 and Route 38. (4:08pm)
  • A jeep rear-ended a CRV after an animal ran out into the roadway on Adams Street. Police assisted with paperwork. (5:15pm)
