POLICE LOG for November 4: Syringes Found; Police Return Purse To Elderly Woman

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Monday, November 4, 2019:
  • Police issued a citation for texting while driving, marked lanes violation, and failing to notify RMV of address change. Driver was pulled over at Shawsheen Avenue and Moore Street. (1:31am)
  • Police retrieved a bag of syringes left on the grass on Burlington Avenue for proper disposal. (7:33am)
  • A 2-vehicle crash occurred on 93 South, near Exit 41. State Police handled scene. Fire Department transported two. (8:42am)
  • A Dunkin’ employee called to report a purse was left behind by an elderly woman. Police retrieved purse and returned it to its owner. (4:27pm)
