POLICE LOG for November 1: Skunk & Squirrel Get Their Heads Stuck In Stuff; Yard Sale Causes Traffic Issues

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Friday, November 1, 2019:
  • A caller reported a skunk was in the McDonald’s parking lot with a cup stuck on its head. Skunk wandered onto Main Street and was struck by a vehicle before police arrived. (5:37am)
  • Police received multiple calls about cars having difficulty to pass due to a yard sale at Glen Road and Middlesex Avenue. Police felt traffic was able to pass. (10:06am)
  • Police received call that a squirrel’s head was stuck in a dumpster at Abundant Life. Children were worried. Animal Control Officer was able to free squirrel. (12:28pm)
  • An RMV employee reported an unruly customer wearing a jean jacket with gray hair. Police responded. Man was sent on his way for the day. (1:52pm)
