POLICE LOG for October 31: House Egged On Halloween Night; Teen Goes Missing From Group Home

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Thursday, October 31, 2019:
  • A Birchwood Road caller reported a raccoon stuck inside her trash barrel lid. Animal Control Officer later spoke with caller. Raccoon was able to get out on its own. (6:18am)
  • An Avalon Oaks caller reported that his neighbor is slamming doors and cursing in the hallways. Resident was advised to call building management, who then advised him to call the police. Police responded and restored the peace. (3:11pm)
  • A caller reported that a terminated employee made threatening comments to another employee. Police explained the process for a no trespass order. (4:25pm)
  • A Hopkins Street caller reported a 36 inch Nightingale wood stove, valued at $3,000-$4,000, was removed from residence without permission. Police informed caller it was a civil manner. (5:22pm)
  • Police notified DPW of a downed tree on Forest Street, blocking the roadway. (6:53pm)
  • Police responded to a minor 2-vehicle crash in the Market Basket parking lot. (7:10pm)
  • A Butters Row caller reported his house was egged tonight. (8:51pm)
  • A juvenile was reported missing from the Milestone Group Home on High Street. (11:33pm)
