POLICE LOG for October 28: Billerica Woman Arrested; Car vs. Pole Leads To Power Outage

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Monday, October 28, 2019:
  • A car struck a pole on Woburn Street. An unoccupied parked vehicle was also damaged. Airbag deployed. Pole appeared to be cracked in half. RMLD and Verizon notified. Power reported out on the street. Vehicle towed. (9:33am)
  • Mary E. Lord (39, Billerica) was arrested on a warrant. A caller reported a vehicle was parked on the wrong side of the street with people sleeping inside. Lord was driven to the Woburn District Court. (12:14pm)
  • A Boutwell Street resident has footage of unfamiliar female walking up to his backdoor and trying to gain access to home. Female was an elderly woman who may have been confused. Police will check with neighbors. (5:06pm)
  • RMV manager’s truck was struck while he was working. He has video footage. New England Ice Cream Truck struck vehicle. Manager will work it out with company. (6:54pm)
