POLICE LOG for October 27: Driver Arrested; Highway Crash; Road Flooding

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Sunday, October 27, 2019:
  • Public Safety building at a complete power loss. 911 lines did stay on and power did reset. Reading Light was notified. (7:46am)
  • Police noted someone dumped several mattresses and box springs, and rungs, in the dumpster at the Boutwell Early Childhood Center. (12:00pm)
  • A caller reports that there is a tree about to fall onto the roadway on Kilby Street. Police notified DPW. (3:25pm)
  • Police notified DPW of road flooding at Concord Street and Federal Street. (4:18pm)
  • A caller reported a 2-vehicle crash on 93 North near Exit 39 in the fast lane. 1 vehicle had airbag deployment. Ambulance requested for evaluation. State Police handled scene. Wilmington Police assisted with traffic assistance. (5:33pm)
  • Lelia Farias Lopes Gibson (50, Salem) was arrested on a warrant. Gibson was involved in a 2-vehicle crash in front of Floral Dreams on Lowell Street. (6:35pm)
