#1) Shawsheen/West PAC’s Winter Wonderland Festival
Residents are invited to the Shawsheen/West PAC’s Second Annual Winter Wonderland Festival from 9am to 2pm at the Shawsheen Elementary School (298 Shawsheen Avenue).
The annual Winter Wonderland Festival has something for everyone! Come visit more than 40 vendors, hear the sounds from amazing a cappella groups from Wilmington, catch performances and demonstrations from local dance studios and singing groups, and enjoy special children’s activities and crafts for the kiddos. And while you visit, grab some pizza, pick up a baked good, and take your chance on some raffles.

#2) Indian Dance Performance, Diwali Celebration In Wilmington
Enjoy an hour-long performance featuring acclaimed Odissi dancer Mouli Pal at the Wilmington United Methodist Church (87 Church Street). There are two shows — 3:30pm to 4:30pm and 6pm to 7pm.
The shows are presented by Upasana, a Wilmington-based non-profit dance company that works to promote and preserve Odissi, a lesser know style of classical dance from eastern India.
A reception featuring sumptuous culinary creations to celebrate Diwali, the Indian festival of lights, will take place from 4:30pm to 5:30pm.

#3) Greater Boston Sports Collectors Club’s Annual Sports Card & Memorabilia Show At Shriners Auditorium
Meet sports celebrities at Greater Boston Sports Collectors Club’s 34th Annual Sports Card & Memorabilia Show, held on Friday, November 1, 2019 (noon to 7pm), Saturday, November 2, 2019 (9am to 5pm), and Sunday, November 3, 2019 (9am-3pm) at the Shriners Auditorium (99 Fordham Road) in Wilmington. #4) The Memory Laners Concert & Social At Wilmington Library
The Wilmington Memorial Library (175 Middlesex Avenue) is hosting the Memory Laners for a concert and social at 2:30pm. Don’t miss this afternoon of music, memories, and camaraderie. The Memory Laners featuring Frankie Henderson, Trish McLaughlin, John Clement, Howie Conley sing songs from the 50s and 60s–Roy Orbison, The Temptations, The Righteous Brothers, Elvis Presley, The Platters, Sonny and Cher and many others. Join us for a stroll down the magical eras of music. The concert is the kickoff to the library’s yearlong Healthy Aging Series supported by an LSTA grant from the state. Attending cultural events and listening to music enhances biological functions and reduces social isolation, so plan to attend and start your healthy aging journey!
