SENIOR CENTER SPOTLIGHT: Wilmington Seniors Invited To Talk On Age-Related Eye Diseases On November 20

Below is an announcement from the Wilmington Elderly Services Department, which first appeared in the latest Town Topics newsletter:

WILMINGTON, MA — As you get older, your risk for developing age-related eye diseases and conditions increases and may occur with little or no warning signs. The good news is that if diagnosed early, many eye conditions can be effectively treated and can reduce your chances of developing complications and/or vision loss.

Join Reena Gupta, M.D., Ophthalmologist from the Boston Eye Group in Andover, at the Buzzell Senior Center on Wednesday, November 20, 2019, from noon to 1pm, for lunch and an informative presentation.

Together we will discuss how to effectively prevent, diagnose and treat common eye diseases and conditions such as dry eye, cataracts and macular degeneration.
