WILMINGTON, MA — Here are highlights of the Wilmington Police Log for Thursday, October 17, 2019:
- Police notified DPW of flooding on Lowell Street. (3:12am)
- Police notified DPW of flooding on Andover Street, between 222 and 400. (3:14am)
- A tree on Shady Lane Drive took down power line from house and struck two vehicles. House’s roof was also damaged. Police notified RMLD. (3:21am)
- Parker Street resident reported wires to her house were down across roadway. Live wires. Police notified Verizon and RMLD. (3:24am)
- Police notified DPW of flooding near North Intermediate School on Salem Street. (3:30am)
- DPW reported a large oak tree blocking the road on Dadant Drive. Police notified RMLD. (3:48am)
- A downed tree was blocking road on Lawrence Court. Resident used a chainsaw and created a path so he could go to work. Rest of tree still needs to be removed. Police notified RMLD. (5:03am)
- Police notified Tree Department of tree down in roadway on Congress Street. (5:56pm)
- Fire Department responded to car fire on 93 North, near Exit 40. State Police towed vehicle. (6:06pm)
- Police notified RMLD of a street light down in the roadway at Nelson Way and High Street. (8:53pm)
