POLICE LOG for October 15: Rock Thrown At Car Or Acorn Fallen From Tree?; The Old Coke & Mentos Science Experiment

WILMINGTON, MA — Here are highlights of the Wilmington Police Log for Tuesday, October 15, 2019:

  • Police notified Public Buildings Department that the red light coming out of Deming Way was out. (8:45am)
  • A walk-in party reported that while parked at the Dollar Tree, the vehicle next to her opened their door and struck her vehicle. (12:16pm)
  • A caller reported he believes someone threw a rock or something at his vehicle while driving at the end of Wilton Drive. Caller reports no damage to vehicle. Police responded and noted acorns on the road. (4:19pm)
  • During a check of Fordham Road, police noticed a dozen or so empty Coke bottles in the cul de sac. Bottles appeared to have been mixed with Mentos and erupted, causing a mess. Police notified DPW. (11:11pm)
