POLICE LOG for October 7: Lawrence Man Issued Summons; Bike Theft Not What It Seems

WILMINGTON, MA — Here are highlights of the Wilmington Police Log for Monday, October 7, 2019:

  • Jonathan A. Sanchez (29, Lawrence) was issued a summons for Operating A Motor Vehicle and Speeding. Sanchez was pulled over on Salem Street. (6:26am)
  • A caller reported a small silver sedan was parked near the train tracks at Woburn Street and Quail Run. Police responded. An employee of Keolis was trimming the trees in the area. (1:13pm)
  • A passerby reported a man pushing a sports bike down the road on Eames Street and Jewel Drive. Caller wasn’t sure if bike was broken down or if man was stealing it. Police responded. Situation checked OK. Owner’s friend was trying to get the bike to start. (6:58pm)
