#1) POSTPONED DUE TO RAIN: RMLD Family-Friendly Open House Moved To Thursday, October 17
Due to the forecast for rain on the originally scheduled event date of Thursday, October 10, and because the event takes place mainly outdoors and planned activities such as bucket truck rides (a favorite of the kids) and lineman demos cannot be held during inclement weather, the RMLD Open House has been postponed to its scheduled rain date of Thursday, October 17, 2019 from 3:00 – 6:00 pm (weather permitting). The event will take place at RMLD’s Garage located at 218 Ash Street, Reading.
#2) Wilmington SEPAC’s Support Group
The Wilmington Special Education Parent Advisory Council (SEPAC) has reconvened its Parent/Caregiver Support Group.
Meet other parents while sharing ideas, challenges and dreams in an informal and friendly atmosphere. Each meeting will have a topic, however, feel free to come and get support or support others even if the topic doesn’t interest you.

#3) Tony C Lecture At Wilmington Library
The Wilmington Memorial Library (175 Middlesex Avenue) is hosting a lecture on Tony Conigliaro at 7pm. “Tony C” joined the Red Sox in 1964 and seemed destined for a long and illustrious career in baseball. Then tragedy struck during a game against the Angels on August 18th, 1967. Learn about this amazing talent and his legacy in the sport of baseball. Presented by Anthony Guerriero, Massport’s Deputy Director of Community Relations and former faculty member of Salem State University’s History Department. Funded by the Wilmington Sons of Italy. #4) Kindergarten Book Club At Wilmington Library
The Wilmington Memorial Library (175 Middlesex Avenue) is holding a meeting of its Kindergarten Book Club at 3:45pm. This book club is for kindergarteners who miss storytime or those who love to be read to. We will read, talk about a few books and do an activity. Register HERE.
#5) Tour Of Wilmington Town Museum
The Town Museum (430 Salem Street) is open from 10am to 2pm. Come explore Wilmington’s history. Free admission.
