POLICE LOG for October 5: U-Haul Truck Stolen?; Shoplifting At Consignment Store; Door Dash Driver Causes Scene

WILMINGTON, MA — Here are highlights of the Wilmington Police Log for Saturday, October 5, 2019:

  • Police noted mailboxes on Marion Street were damaged, possibly struck by a vehicle overnight. (1:46am)
  • Uhaul reported a missing 10-foot Uhaul truck last scene in its lot on Thursday. (10:30am)
  • Owner of Main Street Consignment & Thrift reported a woman stole merchandise and left pushing a Salvation Army shopping cart. (4:44pm)
  • A Door Dash driver caused a disturbance when his Door Dash card was declined, but wanted to take the food anyway. Police responded and restored the peace. Police instructed restaurant owner on a no trespass order. (7:51pm)
